SUMMER 2023

Below you will find registration link highlighted and other information for our 2023 Summer Speed & Strength Program! We encourage all athletes to participate in this program as it is guaranteed to make them faster and stronger. With that said, you will only get out of it based on what you put into it. Consistency is key, and being intentional throughout the workout will always yield better results. New This Year:

A “Stronger Together Challenge between all Participants! This summer, we will be splitting the boys and girls into 4 teams. Who, throughout the summer will be able to earn points towards an in-summer competition.

Points can be earned by regular attendance to Speed & Strength, Lakeview Sport Practices, Open Gyms, or by attending Sport Specific Camps/Clinics. Points will also be able to be intercepted from another team by setting new personal bests in the weight room or by winning end of week challenges

Through regular attendance and earning points, individuals and teams will earn lettering rights and win prizes. Prizes may include team apparel, team dinners/outings, or even a “1-Practice Pass from Fall Conditioning” (Coaches Approved).

This summer is shaping up to be the most fun and competitive summer yet, so be sure to sign up for a lot of fun and an opportunity to make yourself faster and stronger!

Summer Scoring (DEFENse)

Any athlete who hits a PR in any Core Lift at the end of each quarter is able to take 25 points from the the team they are competing against that week. Core Lifts are those we test. A PR can be set by a 3-5 rep max by using the following formula: [(Reps * .03) + 1] * Weight Lifted.
